Samsung repairs Galaxy smartphones for free for care

Healthcare workers don’t have to worry about their Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Companies all over the world organize a helping hand for health care workers. This group is in the frontline against the coronavirus. In the United States, Samsung will therefore repair broken smartphones of people in healthcare for free. Also, Google has announced this.

Both companies do this in a partnership with the company uBreakiFix. Healthcare workers who have a Samsung or Google smartphone with a broken screen or battery can have it repaired free of charge. The promotion is valid until at least June 30. The healthcare staff can go to a uBreakiFix location near them. The Samsung repair program is presented under the name  Free Repairs for The Frontline .

That’s not Samsung’s only action. The South Korean tech giant also has an exclusive discount promotion for healthcare workers in the United States. Products in the Samsung webshop can be purchased by healthcare workers with a 30 percent discount.

Although the repair action runs until June 30, there is a chance that the action will be extended. The United States has been hit hard by the corona virus. They are still there for much of this year to get things back in order.
